Volunteering for a Good Cause and Mental Goodness
Even if you are in a bad state, there will always be others who are worse off.
You could be thinking of ending it all but there are others that are without sights, limbs or arms but are still relishing the wonders of being alive every single day.
Therefore, when we change our mindset, it will make us more grateful to be still able to carry on with our life with no mobility issues. It will further make us appreciate that life could get better than worse if we have a positive mindset.
Volunteering will be good nourishment for your inner soul whenever u are feeling down. By helping others, we are contributing back to society in our tiny way. It will enhance our self-worth. It will also make our life more productive rather than tumbling down, staying depressed and feeling worthless.
Come what may, life still goes on. So do grief but try to wake up from it, accept the situation and move forward within a week or two. You have the option to choose to live your days happily or sadly despite the circumstances.
So laugh at the silliest joke or just take things in stride. Remaining calm and zen would be the right approach to deal with the perfect storm.
Do volunteer work at least once a week which could be a step forward to paving the way to mental goodness and recovery.
Life goes on, so make it a meaningful one while you are at it.
