
Step Back: Ease Your Worries and Tensions
Everyone will have challenges at certain stages of their life. It could come naturally or be forced upon you.
It would lead to anxieties and uncertainties that naturally encompass stress. With such worries, it would be draining on our mental health and we could succumb to the negative thoughts. By doing so, we would always feel down and out with no motivation to lead a more fulfilling life.
Step Back and Frame our Minds
So whenever we are faced with a challenge, if time permits, it is good to just step back and look at the bigger picture. We could sleep on a problem for a day or two as a sudden decision might be done on impulse. Therefore, it might not be the most appropriate action.
By stepping back, we could explore and frame our minds for different perspectives. In every dire situation, there will be a silver lining or a possible positive outlook. Perhaps when we got into an accident and have to be hospitalised, we could look at the positive side of having time to reflect and plan ahead for our life goals.
One Day at a Time
Therefore, there is this mantra ” One Day at a Time” when people are facing the most extreme conditions such as being in a concentration camp. We just have to aim small and take it as a small victory when we wake up healthy and alive the next day.
Therefore stepping back and relooking at the priorities or our anger would lead to the resolution of things much easier. ” Is it worth shouting my lungs out at such a tiny incident”?
Thus, it is always advised to just step away for 5 seconds and take 3 deep breaths when you feel you are going to lash out. That 5 seconds would be the time breaker to diffuse your emotions and make you think more rationally.
Have Faith
With the world now being more stressful, the act of stepping back and taking challenges as it comes become more crucial.
No matter how challenging and torturous a situation would pan out, there is always a solution and negative emotions are fleeting. Let it be and it will pass over soon like the dark clouds hovering over a perfect storm. It will be clear blue skies soon and we just have to look at the silver lining. We will endure and get through this being much stronger and mentally more resilient.

Therefore, I hope that all will be able to survive and be brave to face heads on the curve balls life throws at you.
Be positive, step back, look at the silver lining and frame your perspective would help you cope better. Since we are going to deal with the situation, we might as well deal with it from a stronger mindset and positive framework.
Even if things do not pan out well, we definitely would be able to deal with the failure rather than plunge ourselves into a depressive mode.
