Would you wait for a deceased for 9 years? The Story of Hachi
Guest Post by SA Finance In the midst of the current gloom and doom of the war coupled with the fear of economic armageddon- tech and innovation stocks have already felt the ripples, it is good to take a step back and reflect on what really matters. Over the weekend, I have caught this 2009 movie, Hachi: A Dog’s Tale, featuring Richard Gere. It is based on a true story in Tokyo during the 1920s of a Japanese college professor and his dog. Wim Hof Method ( Highly Recommended)
I have chanced upon the Wim Hof method. I do find it useful in calming my thoughts especially after a yoga session in the morning. The method mainly encompasses 2 activities namely, breathing and cold shower therapy. So cold therapy basically means a cold shower which I will take after my morning workout/Yoga session. After which, I will find a comfortable spot and lie down and do the breathing exercises- you could be in a seating position and any postures that make you at ease. For the breathing exercise, it is relatively simple, you just have to take 30 deep breathing cycles and after which you will hold your breath…

The nadir of sadness could only amplify our desire for a sane and peaceful mind with a calm soul to deal with the numerous curve balls thrown towards us. As always, meditation and workouts are in my opinion the best natural remedies to nurse our soul and body to a healthy state. Being positive to move our life forward is paramount and we should bravely meet the obstacles that come our way with our best efforts. Therefore, we need not only a…

Serenity of MacRitchie Reservoir
MarRitchie Reservoir is one of my favourite places to go for a stroll. It was constructed in 1867. The serenity and tranquillity, eclipse one away from the stress and anxieties, that we are facing every day. So this is a youtube video of my regular stroll along the perimeters surrounding the reservoir. Enjoyz!
