Wim Hof Method ( Highly Recommended)
I have chanced upon the Wim Hof method. I do find it useful in calming my thoughts especially after a yoga session in the morning. The method mainly encompasses 2 activities namely, breathing and cold shower therapy. So cold therapy basically means a cold shower which I will take after my morning workout/Yoga session. After which, I will find a comfortable spot and lie down and do the breathing exercises- you could be in a seating position and any postures that make you at ease. 4-7-8 Breathing Stress Relief
Recently, I have been to a course and chance upon a therapist, she was sharing methods of relieving stress during our lunch break conversation. The 4-7-8 breathing technique came into the picture. I think it is insightful as I usually just use normal breath meditation as my main meditation tool. 4-7-8 breathing technique basically works this way- you inhale for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 7 seconds and finally exhale for 8 seconds.
